ABOUT
BROADSIDE HACKS FOLK CLUB was founded in March 2023, and serves to bridge the gap between established folk artists and institutions in the uk with new artists working in creative ways to explore folk traditions. Since then, we have programmed heavily at Hackney's MOTH Club and, more recently Canary Wharf's trading vessell-turned-arts space, Theatreship. Other venues include Hackney Empire, EartH Hackney, Cecil Sharp House and 3Arena Dublin (formerly The Point). 
We are proud to have presented veterans such as Martin Carthy, Shirley Collins, Martin Hayes, Andy Irvine and Peggy Seeger, alongside those at the forefront of the new wave of Folk, the likes of Daisy Rickman, Johny Francis Flynn and Muireann Bradley.
